This list is to help you before your baby is born. A list of ideas and things to think about getting done to help you.
pre-wash all the baby clothes
It’s not something you have to do. But it is a good idea. Have everything washed, cleaned, and put away before the baby arrives.
You will probably have plenty of clothes and knowing the ones you have are all clean and ready to go is a bonus.
It can feel really good doing this and getting everything ready.
Invest in Nursing bra's
If you are planning on breastfeeding nursing bras are a must. Make sure you buy a few, ones for comfort. It is so much easier to buy these than keep trying to put nursing pads into a normal bra.
They recommend you don’t wear an underwire bra for the first three months of breast feeding, so keep that in mind too.
Make freezer meals
When you bring your new baby home, you are likely to be exhausted. Any energy you can save is a bonus. So in the lead-up to giving birth pre-cook a load of meals and put them in the freezer.
Then you can enjoy your favorite meal without having to spend ages cooking it.
Get a water proof bed pad
Keep your mattress safe ( we all know how expensive they can be). Purchase yourself a waterproof bed pad or covering. Make sure to have it on the mattress several weeks before giving birth. This way if your water breaks in bed your mattress will be all safe and dry.
We hope you found these before your baby is born tips helpful on your journey.
