Looking for some ideas for Screen Free Activities for Kids?  Here are 5 to get you started.

Screen Free Activities for Kids

Read a book

Yep, it’s an obvious one.  But you could both read different books or read together depending on their age.  When they are old enough this can be a great way of getting some you time while they read, and enjoy some of your favourites.

Draw or colour

Another great activity you can do together.  And you can each have your own colouring books or drawing pads.  This activity can be so mindful to do for all of you.

Camp out

Grab a tent and have a camp out with the kids in the back garden.  or you can camp in and get sleeping bags set up in the lounge.

Get snacks and food.  Flashlight and tell stories, jokes, sing and if anyone plays a musical instrument add that too.

Gardening

Have some fun, get some herbs and some plants the kids can watch them grow.  You can even plant some veg and grow food to cook together on another day.

Even get some pictures of the plants growing.  You could have patches in the gardens with little signs with the kids’ names on their patches of gardens.

Build something

From Lego to something out of cardboard.

Get some materials and just have fun building anything you can think of together.  Save up the items you were planning on throwing away and instead build a tower or maybe a fort.  Anything your imagination comes up with.

We hope you enjoyed these 5 Screen Free Activities for Kids.  Keep an eye out for more tips and tricks in the future.
